How strong is the fabric on an AAKRON inflatable boat?
It’s made from Korean manufactured Akronyl 1100 decitex reinforced (nearly 1mm) thick polymer composite fabric reinforced with terylene. WE ONLY SPECIFY KOREAN FABRIC. The Korean fabric is substantially stronger and won’t bulge when it gets hot or when up to working pressure. Its especially made for the job and 100,000’s of inflatable boats are made from it each year. It is very hard to puncture with anything less than a sharp knife. NB: Some manufactuers use 1000 decitex. Its only 10% lighter but it is lighter. Our river rafts are nearly 2mm thick so you see its important.
