How strong are the windows installed by WindowMan?
All of the windows (regardless of manufacturer) installed by WindowMan of South Florida are approved by the Miami-Dade County Building Code, which is one of the strictest in the country. Windows are tested for both impact resistance and pressure ratings. Each of our windows must meet the specific guidelines for impact resistance and design pressure in order to be approved through the permitting process. Design pressures are determined by the size of the structure, size of the opening, and type of glass utilized in the products.
