How strong are the magnets used in MIA Canvas Collections?
Neodymium magnets are powerful magnets that should be handled carefully. These magnets can have the strength to hold 3-5 lbs, and so when using these magnets, you need to be cautious with little fingers. We do not recommend using these magnets to hold more than 1 piece of paper to the artwork, as the magnets would be more likely to fall, and create a hazard. The magnets we use are glued in and cured over days in order to preserve the holding power to the resin. These magnets can be extremely harmful if more than one were to be ingested at a time, SO PARENT SUPERVISION IS RECOMMENDED AT ALL TIMES TO AVOID SWALLOWING.
