How strenuous is paragliding?
Paragliding itself is not terribly strenuous. A person in good overall health, and average strength and agility can paraglide just fine. As students learn the balance between wind and wing, they learn that touch, feel, and anticipation are more important qualities in a pilot that strength. Women often learn to paraglider more quickly than men given the better balance that females have as compared to men. Some paragliding launch sites require a short hike; others are drive-up launch sites.
