How stable is DNA isolated by the nexttec™ system?

0

Nexttec™ DNA preparations are stable for several weeks if stored at 4°C. If the sample material contains many fungal spores it may happen that some of these spores can survive the lysis conditions and begin to germinate. They will quickly degrade the DNA. This can be avoided by centrifugation of lysates before applying them onto nexttec™ Clean Columns. For long-term storage DNA preparation should be stored frozen at -18 to -22°C.
