It takes several weeks to set up the annuity, so a Top Prize winner who chooses the annuity should expect their weekly payments to begin within 10 weeks of the prize claim. WCLC will provide the winner with an initial $10,000 prize cheque when the prize is claimed. This represents the first 10 weeks of the winner’s $1,000 payments.
