How soon will procurement be involved in any process coming out of the exit plan?

We have had good levels of contact with Procurement colleagues from the project outset and will continue to work in co-operation with procurement to ensure the University’s procurement requirements are fulfilled. In order to forestall any potential delays in the project, it will be necessary for CASSS and Procurement colleagues to be as fully aware as possible of likely procurement implications before the Exit Plan is activated. Q: Is part of the project to identify resource requirements come September 2010, if there is little development to be done for Unisys staff, and they (or the contractors) are released by Unisys, this level of staff will not be available to ITS and / or the University post September 2010 A: Any resource planning will be considered in line with the exit plan. We also have a duty to consider TUPE implications in relation to staff transferring to the University.
