How soon must the notifier make a notification?
Notifiers are required to make reports as soon as possible after they have formed their suspicion. The forming of a suspicion may take a period of time particularly if it is based on a cluster of observations. So, a teacher may have worked with a young person for many months and involved other agencies for support before they consider they need to make a notification.
