How soon can i buy new fish after conditioning my new tank of water?

If by conditioning, you mean you added some drops to the water to neutralize chlorine, metals, etc. then you can add fish right away.  But you need to add fish slowly such as just 1 or 2 fish since it will take time (in general 30 days) for the biological filtration to properly build up to help keep the toxins down.  If you add too many too fast there is a good risk they will not survive.  After you have established your new system, you can add more fish later such as 45 days later.  A lot will depend on how large your tank is and the type of filtration you have.  Also don’t forget to let the fish acclimate to the water temperature by floating the bag of fish into your tank before releasing them.  If possible it is a good idea to slowly add your tank water to the bag so they acclimate to the actual water.  And if you have a net, use that to remove the fish and put in your tank.  You do not want to pour water from the fish store into your tank in case there were any diseases in the store’s water.
