How soon can heartburn start in pregnancy?
Don’t worry, after six children, on the seventh I forgot how to buckle the 5pt harness on a car seat. I was bawling at the hospital. lol Anyway, congrats. Personally, I had heartburn around twelve weeks or so. Typically, the uterus causes a lot of pressure, so when a woman eats, bam there you go. Hormones also play an important roll in heartburn during pregnancy. Heartburn and indigestion in pregnant women is also caused by the rising level of hormones which trigger a weakening of the ring muscle that is responsible for blocking the way of the acid back in the esophagus.
