How soon after a project (development application) is approved can it be built?
The applicant, following the approval of a project, has 60 days to submit all required ocuments. Once the submitted documents are reviewed and determined to be properly executed, they are delivered to the Clerk of the Circuit Court to be recorded in the public records. After the development order is recorded, site development can commence. The web site contains links to pages that can inform you when the project was approved, when the documents were transmitted to the County Attorneys and Engineering departments for acceptance, and when they are recorded at the clerk’s office.
