How Solar Panel Works ?

0

A solar panel is comprised of multiple individual solar cells. These solar cells work very much like a large semiconductor that utilizes a large p-n diode that causes the energy generated from the photons to lose their orbit releasing their electrons as they strike the surface of the solar panel. The electric fields in the solar panel pull these freed electrons into a directional current so the metal contacts in the solar cell generates the electricity.
