How similar is Dungeon Master to Dungeons and Dragons (D&D)?
Although the world of Atoll is wholly original, much of the creatures and denizens of the land have roots in the first edition D&D books (see our Monster Guide). Any character you may have seen or used in a D&D game would fit in smoothly here. The major difference is of course that anyone can use magic and can cast any spell with just a grand gesture and an ability to rhyme.
