How should water, extracts and solution samples be prepared for analysis?
Submit 50 ml of filtered *water, solution or extract samples in a glass or plastic container with a cap. Submit also at least 1 liter of matrix or extractant for calibrating standard solution preparation. For example, if you are submitting irrigation water as your sample, submit 1 liter of deionized or distilled water as your matrix. If your sample is a KCl extract, submit 1 liter of the same solution used in the extraction procedure.
