HILL: Our nation should not accept and cannot afford to have 47 million of its own citizens uninsured. I believe healthcare is a right for all Americans and that we need to bring all those involved in the healthcare industry — doctors, nurses, pharmacists, pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, insurance providers, patient advocates, etc. — together to devise the most effective way to provide health insurance for all Americans. SODREL: Congress should work to make health care more available and more affordable. Health insurance plans should be simplified. If all insurance carriers were required to offer, as a minimum, three identical plans, the healthcare consumer could compare apples to apples and healthcare providers would know what was covered SCHANSBERG: I discuss this topic, in detail, on my website: EricForCongress.com.
