It depends how early it is before the wedding. Some brides like us to keep their gowns here at the store until the day of the wedding. What we do is put them in a back room that doesn’t have a lot of light and store the dress itself in a “breathable bag,” which is a zipper garment bag made out of a special fabric. If she chooses to keep the dress at home before the wedding, I suggest keeping it in the “breathable bag” and storing it in a closet or somewhere where there isn’t a lot of light or moisture. Is there anything special she needs to do to her gown on the wedding day, such as steaming? We usually steam and iron the dress for the wedding day, so when the day comes, it’s ready to be put on.
