How should someone with diabetes take Almased?
The first thing to do is to see how Almased affects your blood sugar level, if any. Therefore, you will continue with your diabetes medication as usual and measure your blood sugar before and 2 hours after your first Almased shake, which should be mixed preferably in water. This step is important and will tell you if your medication needs to be adapted (e.g. if your blood sugar level tends to run too low). We strongly recommend talking to your doctor about adjusting your medication.
