How should representative work be chosen?
Simply submit your best work; this is one of the most important parts of your application. Make song selections that showcase a variety of styles. Prepare one disc of 3-6 songs that show both music and lyrics to their best advantage. Remember, first impressions are important: be sure to put the strongest song selections first, not necessarily the order they appear in the show. If you can, submit work from more than one piece (although if your best work is from one piece, this is not a requirement).
