How should PCTs provide training to independent contractors, especially GPs, and will there be any funding to support this?
Information Governance training is available via the IG Training Tool (IGTT), which is a free resource. This can be introduced to Practices or the trainer tools within it can be used in group training sessions facilitated by an IG Lead. Some leads are using the Practice Manager meetings to demonstrate and promote the IGTT. Over the coming years the IGTT will be further developed to provide IG Training for all levels.
