How should Letters of Recommendation be submitted?

0

You no longer have the option of submitting them through the online graduate school application. Submit them to the department using the recommendation form. Please make sure that your recommenders have indicated that they are willing to fill out a reference form for you in advance. Please keep in mind that it is your responsibility to ensure that your recommender has submitted the form by the appropriate deadline. Letters ( 3 ) should be included in your packet along with your department application, resume and statement.

Letters of reference should be submitted by three “referees” familiar with your scientific abilities and must be received by the application deadline, April 15, 2005, 17:00 EST. They should be emailed as pdf, Word attachments, or plain text directly by the referees to the Fellowship Program Coordinator at predoc@cfa.harvard.edu. Applicants are responsible for ensuring that letters of reference have been received. Use the “View Status” feature to check if receipt of a letter of reference has been recorded.
