How should Lamisil (Terbinafine) be used?
Use Terbinafine as directed by your doctor. Check the label on the medicine for exact dosing instructions. • Terbinafine may be taken with or without food. • Terbinafine is usually taken for 6 to 12 weeks depending on your condition. Maximum benefits may not be seen for several months after discontinuing treatment; this includes the time period necessary for the outgrowth of healthy nail. • It may take several weeks to months for your symptoms to improve. • If you miss a dose of Terbinafine , take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.
