How should I write, about the Batavia Ship?
I would write it as an essay, the other options look difficult to me. I can’t see how you can write a report or a Q&A on a ship? I don’t exactly know what you would write about (how it was built, what it was used for etc. ) but an interesting topic could also be how the skipper Jacobsz and a junior merchant named Jeronimus Cornelisz, planned to take over the ship to start a new life somewhere else with all the money, gold, silver and supplies on board. Did you know that the Dutch built a replica of the Batavia in the Netherlands? They started this monster project in 1985 and it took them 10 years to complete it. The ship was transported to Sydney, Australia to be the Flagship for the Dutch Olympic Team and then returned to the Netherlands where people can go on her and see what it looked like in these days.
