Take this medication by mouth with a glass of water. You can take it with or without food. Take it at regular intervals. Do not take Zovirax more often than directed. Take all of your medication as directed even if you think you feel better. Do not skip doses or stop your medication early. Talk to your pediatrician regarding the use of Zovirax in children. While this medication may be prescribed for selected conditions, precautions do apply. Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of this medication immediately contact a poison control center or emergency unit. NOTE: This medication is only for you. Do not share it with others.
