How should I use passages from the NKS book in forum posts?
It is better to quote exactly than to give a paraphrase. You do not need to write out the full name, but can use the shortened form, “the NKS book” to identify the source. Cite with page numbers, and links to NKS Online. A set of special forum tags have been provided to simplify links to pages of NKS Online. Just enclose the page number in [pg] [/pg] tags, and it will become a link to that page of the online book. To indicate something is a quotation in vB code, you can surround the text with angle brace tags containing the word “quote”, using a forward slash before that word but within the braces in the second (closing) tag, to indicate the end of the quote.
