How should I use Levaquin (levofloxacin)?
Take this medication by mouth with a full glass of water. Levaquin (levofloxacin) can be taken with or without food. Take it at regular intervals. Do not take your medication more often than directed. Do not skip doses or stop your treatment early even if you feel better. Do not stop taking it except on your doctor’s advice. Talk to your pediatrician regarding the use of Levaquin (levofloxacin) in children. This medication has not been approved for use in children. Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of this medication immediately contact a poison control center or emergency health service. NOTE: This medication is only for you. Do not share it with others.
