How should i take out an old rusty screw?
When working on a half-rused 1970 El Camino, we soaked all stuck and rusted screws in WD-40 to loosen them. However, I think WD-40 is a bit too harsh for wood and would likely ruin your finish. If you go to your local Home Improvement store, you should be able to find some simple Silicone spray lubricant which might do the trick – Try to find some stuff in the spray can that doesn’t contain much petro-derived chemicals to ensure you’re wood’s OK.
