How should I store and wash my baby’s soiled gCloth?

Some parents prefer to store their baby’s soiled gCloth in a dry pail (put the poop in the toilet and then just store the inserts in a pail without water). Other parents prefer a wet pail, enough water to cover the inserts. When it’s laundry day you can simply empty the pail into your washing machine, run it on a hot rinse, and then wash normally. Wash the gCloth on hot with your regular detergent and machine or air dry. No special machines or detergent is required. You may find after a few months that there is a bit of detergent build-up on your gCloth and they’re not absorbing as well as they used to. This is normal and can be solved by occasionally “stripping” your gCloth. Wash them on hot without detergent (or just use a bit of dish soap) to get that excess detergent build-up off. You may want to chat with other parents on a discussion board, like the gDiapers Yahoo group, to find other options that might work for you.
