How should I remove snow and ice from my Trex Deck?
Snow should be pushed off by using a broom (DO NOT Shovel). As with any decking surface, shovels can gouge the product. Calcium chloride or rock salt, available in many home centers will melt ice on Trex. Hint: Rinse the calcium chloride or rock salt off your Trex when first practical, to avoid surface stains. A general deckwash or hot soapy water applied with a stiff bristle brush should remove any stains that occur.
