Try not to dig below the required depth. Make sure the bottom of the hole is firm, well-compacted, level and free of large stones. Bury Redi-Footing to the base of the cap (the PVC should be completely covered). If soil conditions are poor, you may dig out the hole a little more and place an unopened bag of concrete in the bottom of the hole.
