How should I pack breakable items such as glass, crystal or china?
Make sure you choose a container that has a sturdy lid and room for lots of cushioning. Place a 2-3 inch layer of crushed paper on the bottom of the box and then wrap each item individually with a soft material for protective padding. Pack the heaviest items first followed by lighter ones and use crushed paper to fill in any empty spaces in the box. After sealing the box with tape, mark it FRAGILE and list the contents.
