How should I interview Senior Citizens?
If I were you I would be most interested in interviewing active seniors who are still living in their homes. The only advice I would give is to dress appropriately, treat them respectfully, dont use slang terms, speak clearly and be considerate of some hearling loss. If would just ask seniors a few questions about how they feel senior issues are being addressed. Do they still feel as in control as they did when they were younger? What do others do that make them feel “old” and what irritates them about how others treat them. How do they express their concerns to local or national legislators. What do they feel are the main senior issues and what to they think should be done to get these addressed.
