How should I go about litter box training a kitten that doesn know how?
I was concerned at first that the kitten might be too young to go to the bathroom on its own, but if it’s eating food and water, then it is old enough to potty on its own. When you say it won’t use the litter box, I will assume that it is going every where BUT the litter box. Put the food (canned, since it’s a little kitten), water and litter box in a bathroom or medium-large dog crate. Place the kitten in there and leave it in there a few days. Doing this should be sufficient for it to learn that the litter is the right place to go. In the meantime, get this baby to the vet so it can get a check-up, dewormed, tested for leukemia/AIDS and vaccinated, and make sure you get it spayed/neutered between 4-6 months.
