How should i dispose of a CRT monitor?
Check with your local garbage/recycling company. They may offer services (for a small fee) for recycling the old monitor. If not, then you’ll need to research companies in your area that offer such services. Or, if it still works, donating it is always a good alternative. Schools, churches, and any local charities are usually good places to start. You definitely do not want to simply throw it out in the garbage. There is a good amount of lead in the guts of CRT’s.
