There is no change in the billing of the flu vaccine. According to addendum B. found in the most recent Federal Register, the status indicator for the flu vaccine is a ‘L’ (Influenza Vaccine, Pneumococcal Pneumonia Vaccine). Payment is based on reasonable cost, not subject to deductible or coinsurance. Reference: Addendum D1.
