How should exposures be oriented atop the rack?
There is no rule governing this. Some players orient an exposure so it looks readable from the player’s own point of view — some players orient an exposure so it looks readable from the opposite player’s point of view. Whichever one you think best. Unless sight-impaired, players are expected to be able to read tiles atop another player’s rack without needing any specific orientation.
