How should community services be defined in the legislation?
Vision Australia believes all of the items listed in the discussion paper should be included in defining ‘community services’. We recommend however, as has ACTCOSS that the definition of ‘community services’ include disability services such as home help services, rehabilitation services, equipment and recreation services. We also believe that the definition be as broad as possible to ensure that all services required to build and sustain communities, such as hospitals, emergency services, be included.
