How should candidates be selected to pursue an N/SVQ?
Candidates should ideally have some experience in Revenues or Benefits before starting the N/SVQ. Many employers select candidates who have had at least 1 year’s experience in the field so as to maximise the opportunities for success and evidence gathering. The IRRV does not state a minimum entry requirement but employers are welcome to discuss their selection strategy with the IRRV.
