How severe was psoriasis among respondents?
32% of people surveyed had mild psoriasis (1% to 2% of the body covered) and 42% had moderate psoriasis (3% to 10% of the body covered). 17% had severe psoriasis with more than 10% of the body covered. 59% of these patients could therefore be classified as suffering from moderate to severe psoriasis. Severity did not seem to be related to gender, age of onset or duration. 30% of participants also suffered from psoriatic arthritis. In France, 61% of patients had moderate to severe psoriasis and 20% had psoriatic arthritis.
