How service learning and reverse mentoring assist faculty development in a teacher education program?.
This presentation reports on faculty technology training in which graduate students serve as mentors to university professors in a teacher education program. It starts with an overview of the training and then explains the process how the students are recruited and paired with university faculty members during the training. An illustration of benefits and challenges they encountered are provided afterwards. The presentation attendees will learn how to provide effective technology training to university professors. The attendees will also learn why and how to include students in the training process.
