The wound will not heal until the puss is OUT! It is gross but you need to keep pressing VERY gently to get out as much puss as humanly possible. If you leave any in, the wound won’t heal. (This goes for ALL wounds…) Keep a couple of cotton balls dipped in rubbing alcohol to keep wipeing down the area. Use the alcohol to keep the bacteria in the puss from staying on the skin. IF IT STARTS TO GET RED AND HOT YOU MUST GO TO THE DOCTOR FOR REAL ANTIBIOTICS! A friend of mine got pierced and it got infected… She kept saying “It’s just an infection… I don’t need a doctor…” well, when her parents finally drove her to the emeregency room, her doctor told her that if she had waited even one more day it would have spread to her blood and then her brain and she might have died. The caritilage got all deformed and she had to wait a LONG time for the ear to heal so that she could get reconstructive surgery… NOT a happy time. Don’t mess with something so close to your brain… If it starts
