How serious are the cases of attachment disorder that the attach-china list has experienced/seen in adopted children from China?
Our families have experienced the full continuum – from mild to severe. Some cases were quite serious and apparent at the time of adoption. Some of these children exhibited autistic-type withdrawal and behavior. Some had the acting out type. Many cases had only one or two signs at adoption, but got worse over time.
