How secure will my data be under EditGrid Standard License?

0

EditGrid Standard License is installed on your own server, so it is up to you to configure the security level on the server to ensure each transaction is safe and that no undesired access would be granted. The EditGrid Software automatically generates a self-cooked SSL certificate if one is not present before the installation process. You can also buy an SSL certificate from any trusted certificate authority in place of the self-cooked one for better trustworthiness. A “wildcard certificate” may be required in some cases (the domain for the certificate would look like “*.yourdomain.com” for a wildcard certificate). If your organisation has its own Certificate Authority such that you managed to manually trust it on all browsers you use, you can generate your own wildcard certificate at no cost. If you need any guidance on installing SSL certificate, please contact the EditGrid Service Team at service@editgrid.com .
