How secure is WebAccess?
WebAccess is very secure. Your data is store on the university server, backups are done on a daily basis and communications between your PC and the WebAccess server are done through an encrypted channel called https. Your user id, password and the text in your incoming/outgoing messages are all encrypted (cannot be read if intercepted). HTTPS is part of the internet protocols which ensures the security of transmitted data.
