How secure is Vault?
Vault is secured both physically and electronically. Servers are situated within our own premises and can only be accessed by authorised personnel. Electronically, the data transmission between your PC and our servers is encrypted using SSL technology and uses digital certificates to ensure that you are communicating with an authorised server. Where low-value contracts are being let, the Buyer may determine that high-level certification is not required and adopt a lower level exchange security, omitting the need for client-side digital certificates and thereby reducing even further the costs of using the Vault service.
