How secure is the Transcend Broadband wireless connection?
Your Transcend Broadband wireless Internet connection is very secure, and is comparable to any land based connection such as DSL, cable, or T-1 lines. We only deploy commercial grade technology that is not susceptible to outside intrusion, and includes additional technologies such as encryption and VLANs. Every customer’s radio is configured to only talk to one of our network access points on a very specific frequency configured by us. It will not talk to any other customer’s radio or another manufacturer’s radio. Contact your Transcend Broadband local office if additional security is necessary.
