How scalable is the Pearson VUE system?
The Pearson VUE system is designed to handle yearly test volumes that can be measured in millions, and is scalable to handle any increase. From the early designs of the system’s database, we planned to serve many simultaneous requests at a high transaction rate. As such we have designed a data model that is both extensible and highly normalised.
