How safe is the wireless network?
Wireless networking devices communicate in the 2.4 GHz frequency range, operating at very low power levels, around 0.1 watt. Microwave ovens, which operate in the same frequency range, can leak more than this. Some of the newer cordless telephones on the market also use this same frequency range, but at higher power. There is no conclusive evidence that radio waves in this frequency range and at these low power levels pose any risks to health. All wireless networking equipment is approved by the FCC, which has public documents dealing with RF safety at http://www.fcc.gov/oet/rfsafety.
