How safe is the PPC?
It is very rare that any mechanical failures occur with a PPC. Pilot error accounts for most accidents. With a Rapid Launch, any body of water becomes your personal landing strip, and in the event of an emergency, a Rapid Launch can land on any level ground, or even road. Also, because this aircraft uses a parachute for a wing, in the event of an engine goes out, the descent rate is approximately 600 feet per minute.
