How safe is paying by credit card over the internet?
According to the Wall Street Journal (December 10, 2001), “Here’s the most important thing you need to know about using your credit card online. If a hacker steals your number and runs up your bill, you are out $50 at most. That’s a federal law. In practice, banks will usually let you off the hook altogether.” Also, we don’t process your credit card, ourselves. We contract with a credit card processing company who accepts your payment then notifies us. We never see your card number.
