How safe is my money when making online transactions?
Here at Morgantown Bank & Trust we have taken all precautions to protect our customers and the bank. We have placed together a combination of industry-approved security technologies to protect data for the bank and for you, our customer. It features password-controlled system entry, a VeriSign-issued Digital ID for the bank’s server, Secure Socket Layers (SSL) protocol for data encryption, and a router loaded with a firewall to regulate the inflow and outflow of server traffic. We use three strikes you’re out method. Anyone entering a wrong password three times will be locked out of any account information. This protects your information if anyone is trying to gain access to your account by guessing at your ID or password. If you have been locked out, you must contact the bank to be reset.
